Emergency Operations Simulator This class features one of the most comprehensive tabletop simulators anywhere. This unit consists of changeable "situation panels", with each panel representing a different type of simulation. This class can handle up to 24 students per session, with two sessions each day. Clients can rotate all personnel through a training session and also schedule certain key people to attend a second session for additional exposure and/or more advanced training. The morning sessions begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 12:00 p.m. The afternoon sessions begin at 1:00 p.m and conclude at 4:00 p.m. These times are flexible and can be adjusted to meet your schedule. The client is responsible for a facility physically suitable to handle the simulator and students. This class provides excellent training on various situations in a realistic environment and can be customized for a particular target hazard. The sessions can provide any of the following simulations you select:
1.
Fire incidents (single-family dwelling, multiple occupancy,
strip mall, large commercial, industrial, high rise and
local correctional/detention facility). 2.
Haz-Mat First Responder level incident. 3.
Haz-Mat Technician level incident. 4.
Mass casualty incidents. 5.
Natural disasters (e.g., Tornado, earthquake, or
flood). 6.
Commercial airliner crash. 7. An
integrated command exercise utilizing all responders (fire,
police, public works and administration) in concert with
elected officials to test emergency response plans and
identify areas that need to be improved prior to an actual
incident.
